This Privacy Policy explains how the Al‑Muqri mobile application ("the app", "we") handles your information. In short: Al‑Muqri does not collect, store, or share any personal data, and your voice never leaves your device.
The app requests microphone access solely to analyze your Qur'an recitation on your device. The audio is processed locally by an on‑device model to give you recitation feedback. Your voice recordings are not uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any server, and are not retained after analysis.
None. The app has no user accounts, no sign‑in, and no analytics or tracking. We do not collect names, contacts, location, device identifiers, or usage data.
The app works offline for recitation checking. It uses the internet only to download optional reference‑recitation audio (for the "Listen" feature) the first time you use it for a chapter; that audio is then cached on your device for offline use. These requests fetch audio files only and do not send any personal information.
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from children or anyone else.
Reference audio is retrieved from a public Qur'an audio content delivery network. Large app assets (the recitation model and audio) may be delivered by Google Play's Asset Delivery. These services receive only the standard technical request needed to deliver a file (such as your IP address), governed by their own privacy policies.
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly.
